One, two, three… eight thousand pages!?

One, two, three… eight thousand pages!?

When I undertake a project this big the first steps after design are to create extensive style sheets, master page layouts and plan in as much automation as possible. When the project comes to me partially finished, things can be a lot more challenging. For example, if each file is only two to five pages long, that adds up to nearly 2,000 files to keep track of. Those files need to be booked and those books updated as edits continue throughout the process. Third party utilities are needed to batch print, PDF, preflight and collect different sections of the project as they are completed. This is where I shine, finding those solutions and making it happen.
